Library

There are four libraries in Kauhava and a library bus. Libraries organize activities and events for all ages.

In Kauhava’s main library operate also the art gallery Kaari and a museum.

Culture

Kauhava’s cultural services maintain museums, organize cultural trips, concerts, workshops, art exhibitions, and number of cultural events.

Sports

There are wide range of different sports clubs in Kauhava. Dance, football, soccer, golf, disc golf, volleyball, skating, shooting, horseback riding, gliding, wrestling, motorsports etc. You name it! Sports arenas are available in every quarters. In addition, there are many tracks and gyms that are free for everyone to use.

Language training

Although a lot of people speak English in town, it is important to learn basics of Finnish to network wider. Just knowing a few words in Finnish before you arrive will help you feel more at home.
